Obituary of Kenneth D. Fullerton

It is with great sadness, the family of Kenneth Downing Fullerton of Quispamsis, announce his passing on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Embassy Hall. Ken was born on October 30, 1920 at Long Reach, NB, he was a son of the late George and Vesta (Downing) Fullerton. He spent his working life as a driver with SMT, owner of Rothesay Express, and Fullerton Enterprises with his son John. Ken was a founding member of Kingsco Transport Ltd. in Sussex. Ken was a long time member and former treasurer with the Knights of Pythias. His favorite pastime was playing cribbage, and was proud to achieve four perfect hands. Ken is survived by his children; Dianne Fawcett (Richard), John (Patricia), Richard (Shirley), Lynn Fullerton, all of Quispamsis, and Karen Saunders of Calgary, AB, sisters; Muriel, Carol, Audrey, and Frances, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, special friend Mary Olsen, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife Jean (Cody), Ken was predeceased by his brothers; Shirley, Raymond, and Sam. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of Concorde and Embassy Hall for their care through the years. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119). Funeral Service will be held at Long Reach United Church on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11AM. Interment to take place at Long Reach United Cemetery.
