Karen Mary and I are thinking of you. Having gone through it with Mom, I know all too well what you are going through...and Brandon is about the same age Steven was when Mom passed...rely on each other (as I know you will). Family is number 1, and everything else is a distant second...just take comfort in knowing you were there for her, and she is pain free now. Kevin

My Condolences and Prayers Edna and to all of your Family. I know there are no words that can help you on this journey. Mavis, was special to me, we worked together at Wasson's and she visited me here in Perth-Andover. What a blessing she is, and, I can still hear her say to me, your husband has been transferred to Perth-Andover? She laughed and said they will never take the city out of you my friend. We enjoyed one another, as I know all of you did. God Bless you Edna, and your Family.. Ruth & Russel Knox

To Mavis' family It was such a pleasure to get to know Mavis during the years that Kings Way Care Centre has been open. She was more than a Pharmacy Tech to us, but became part of our family during her daily visits. She always had a lovely smile and friendly greeting for each person. She is missed greatly already. May the God of all comfort give you strength and peace in these days that are so difficult. God bless, Brenda Schyf

My heart goes out to all Mavis's family & friends. Especially Allen, David, Karen, her beloved grandson Brandon & her special sisters & brother. I was blessed to have known Mavis, & to have been a part of the family for many years as my son, Matt Barr, is their cousin. I am so, so sorry for you're loss. She was always so full of love & laughter. I'll treasure all the wonderful memories I have of all the long weekends we spent visiting Quispamsis, and the times I spent talking & laughing with Mavis. Over the past 20+ years she was always so kind to me & I loved her very much. I was so shocked to hear she's passed on, & my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this time. Love, Carolyn MacGuigan-Elliott xo

I can not begin to tell you how very sorry I am to know of Mavis's passing. Mavis was without a doubt one of the most kindhearted and gentle souls I have ever had the privilege to know. Her acceptance and love for everyone was never once filled with judgment or scorn. She constantly demonstrated acts of kindness, compassion and love. It was a part of who she was and she always made everyone feel as though they were important and worthy. Her love truly was unconditional. There are not many people who can say this but Mavis could. We are all so lucky to have had her in our lives and it is beyond sad to know that she is now, at such a young age, no longer with us. You are all in our thoughts and words can not express our deepest deepest sympathies.
