Obituary of Theresa Lee Thompson
Surrounded by her family, the death of Theresa "Terry" Lee Thompson, wife of Murray Thompson, occurred on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Saint John, on October 16, 1958, she was a daughter of Mary (Buckley) Chamberlain and the late Oswald "Ossie" Chamberlain. Terry was the owner and operator of Chuckles Lounge and the Wing House in Saint John for several years but her passion was maintaining a loving home for her family. She enjoyed spending her summers as a youth in Chapel Grove, and later at their camp in Grand Lake. Terry was a loving wife and mother, she will be greatly missed by her family.
Terry is survived by her children; Mark McDonough (Kristy) of Saint John, Jordan Weir of Hampton, Riley Thompson (Miranda) of Quispamsis, Shawna Olive (Andrew) of Quispamsis, and Jena Olive (Kris) of Quispamsis, brothers; David Chamberlain (Diane) of Saint John, and Bobby Chamberlain (Krista) of Norton, sister Patty Magee (Sean) of Saint John, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Sunday from 2-8 PM. Memorial Service will be held at Quispamsis United Church, 372 Hampton Road, Quispamsis on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
