Obituary of Krista Lynn Douthwright
Krista Lynn Douthwright was born on December 28, 1984 in Sussex, NB. She was the daughter of Pearl Douthwright and the late Earl Douthwright. Krista passed away suddenly on November 27, 2016 at the QEII Health Science Centre, Halifax, NS.
Krista had one of the hardest jobs out there…being a full time mother to four beautiful children. When she wasn’t running off her feet after them, she enjoyed spending time working on cars and bikes (also cherished many of those memories through childhood growing up with her Dad), spending time with family and friends, taking the children on fun trips, or enjoying peaceful outings with her husband Dwayne driving in the peaceful country on one of their many four-wheelers.
Krista was a wonderful loving mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend to many and will forever be held dear in many hearts for many years to come.
Krista will forever live on in the hearts of her husband; Dwayne of Southfield and their children; Kacey, Devin, Bryson and Hayden; her mother Pearl of Sussex; brother Neal and wife Jennifer of Newline Road; sisters; Gina and boyfriend Jeff of Sussex and Amber of Kuujjuag, Que.
Arrangements have been entrusted in the care of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (849-2119). Visitation will be held Thursday, December 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Sherwood’s Funeral Home, (18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB). A Memorial Service to celebrate Krista’s life will also be held from Sherwood’s Chapel on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Lupus Canada or to the charity of your choice.
