Lorna and family, I was saddened to hear of your mother's passing. She took me under her wing when I first joined the choir at Germain Street. She even once tried to set me up on a blind date but I was to shy to go through with it. You have my deepest condolences and apologies that I could not make it to the visitation or funeral. I would certainly have been there if I could. My mother passed this month as well. We will see them again, healed! Blessings.-Carol Hayward

Dear Bill & Family, We were very saddened to learn the news of Norma's passing and extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences for your loss. As you reflect on her life and contribution, please know that to us, she was truly a wonderful and kind lady. We are blessed to have had her as part of our lives and will treasure the many memories we have of her. She loved Bernie's one-liners and puns and would laugh longer than anyone else. We kept many of the beautifully crafted thank you notes she would write to us following each gathering of the Four Seasons group. She had a talent for writing and each note was so original it was impossible to discard them. We loved her and will miss her. Our caring thoughts, prayers, love, and support are with you all during this difficult time. Most sincerely,

Dear Bill and Family, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to you. Norma was such a gracious and generous personality and remembered by family, friends, acquaintances and students in so many different ways. Fondest memories for me are of hikes or outings we took together, usually organized by our wonderful friend, Kay Love, and involving several Rothesay friends. I can still see us walking some woodland trail, perhaps sitting by a rocky lakeshore to eat our sandwich, and always engaged in interesting conversations, both serious and trivial. It seemed the cheerful stream of voices continued on these walks with only rare intervals of silence. Those were happy and peaceful times. My thoughts are with you. Sincerely, Lois Thompson
