Obituary of Guy Loiselle
The death of Guy Loiselle of Quispamsis, NB, husband of the late Wendy (Fowler) Loiselle and ex-husband of the late Mary-Ellen (Sears) Loiselle occurred at his home in his sleep on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. Born on February 24, 1952, in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield Quebec, he was a son of the late Leo and Lucienne (Fortier) Loiselle. Guy worked as a financial advisor and accountant for many years until his semi-retirement. Guy had a "joie de vivre" which he shared with everyone he encountered. If he wasn’t travelling the world he could be found at home working on crossword puzzles and plotting his next carpentry project. Guy was an impressive chef whether he was cooking up daily meals for his family or crafting a gourmet dinner menu for the friends and family that he loved to host. You always knew your glass would never run empty when you were with Guy. Guy is survived by: children, Jasen (Heather Doyle) of Quispamsis, Pierre Loiselle (Andrea Smith) of Halifax, NS, and Cynthia Loiselle (Seong Hong Kim) of Jeju, South Korea; sisters, Monique Frenette (Regean) and Hughette Loiselle, both of Quebec; as well as his large extended network of family and friends who love him and will miss him dearly. He was the "Grand Poobah" to his much loved grandchildren; Caleb, Sampson, Sophie, Eden, Julien, Mingi, MinKyeong, and Minseo. Guy was also predeceased by his brother Jacques Loiselle, and sisters; Nicole Beltrocco, and Rolande Brin. All are welcome to join Guy’s family in remembering him at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119) with visiting on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 12 PM, followed by a Celebration of Guy's life at 2 PM at Kennebecasis Funeral Home.
