Obituary of Anaïs Doucet

The death of Anaïs Doucet, wife of the late Carl Novak, occurred on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Bobby's Hospice, Saint John, NB. Born in Cap St. Louis, NB, on August 26, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Doucet and Lina Chevarie. Anaïs was a seamstress and a nursing aide for several years. Anaïs is survived by her daughters; Diane Kenny (Daniel Verchery) of Halifax, NS, Patricia Haynes (Roland) of Quispamsis, and Shirley Nelson (Vaughn) of Maple Ridge, BC, sisters; Liliane Kenny (Lionel), and Robéa Kenny (Wilbert), grandchildren; Roger, Derek, and Jennifer Haynes, Andrew, and Chad Nelson, and Lina Verchery, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Anaïs is predeceased by her brothers; Patrick Doucet, Nazaire Doucet, Larry Doucet, Jack Doucet, and sisters; Frieda Bonnevie, Mary Walsh, Aline Leblanc. As per Anaïs' request there will be no visiting or funeral service. Interment to take place at a later date.
