Obituary of Walter Oskar Weber
The death of Walter Oskar Weber, of Quispamsis, NB, husband of Johanna Weber, occurred on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Baden Baden, Germany on June 8, 1930, he was the son of the late Ernst and Marie (Seiter) Weber. Walter was employed as an industrial electrician for over 35 years, starting his trade in Germany before immigrating to Canada in 1956. He was electrical supervisor on a number of major industrial projects before retiring. Walter was a long time member of IBEW Local 502.
Besides his wife of 65 years, Walter is survived by his son Wolfgang Weber of Quispamsis, NB.
Walter was predeceased by his parents, sister Hildegard, his Aunt Frieda Seiter, as well as seven aunts and uncles
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Thursday, October 5, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 14 Elliott Road, Quispamsis, at 2:30 PM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
