Obituary of Agnes Parker Belyea
Surrounded by her family, the passing of Agnes Parker Belyea of Quispamsis, occurred on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Kings Way Care Centre.
Born in Codys NB on June 17, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Maxwell and Margaret (Perry) Cairns. Agnes was employed at O'Reilly's Meats in Saint John for several years before working at Kimberly Clark, until her retirement in 1984, all the while being a devoted grandmother until the very end. Agnes loved her family and will be deeply missed.
Agnes is survived by her children; Brian Belyea (Janet) of Quispamsis, Albert Belyea (Monica) of Quispamsis, Irene Stafford (Stephen) of Saint John, and Donna Daly (James) of Quispamsis, grandchildren; Justin (Cat) and Travis Spencley (Ayren) , Robyn and David Belyea, Rebecca (William) and Shawna Belyea (Frank), John Hanson (Mary), James Jr. (Melissa), Carrie, and Tara Daly (Jimmy), great grandchildren; Matthew, Christopher, and Allyson Daly, Keri-Lynn Cannon, Shelby and McKayla Cosman, and Isabella Morin, sister Betty Thorne of Rothesay, brother James Cairns (Millie) of Lower Millstream, half siblings; Tony McDonald, Cindy McDonald, both of Saint John, and Paul McDonald of Passekeag, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Agnes was predeceased by her great granddaughter, Britney Hanson and former husband, Clement Belyea.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8PM. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel at 10AM. Interment to take place at Coles Island Baptist Cemetery at 3PM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis, Coles Island Cemetery Fund, or to Diabetes Canada.
