Obituary of Carol Ann Myles
It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Ann Myles announce her passing on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Born in Saint John, NB on February 14, 1956, she was the daughter of Gordon H. Myles and Barbara A. (Magee) Myles.
Carol enjoyed softball, bowling, bingo, cribbage, computer and Saturday night poker with family and friends. She was a member of several service organizations in her younger days. The last few years she enjoyed being DJ_Witchy with Croatian Radio, an internet radio station.
Carol is survived by her daughters, Tammera Cormier (Rob) of Saint John, NB, Cynthia Eatmon (Wayne) of Rothesay, NB, Bobbie-Jo Young (Adam) of Quispamsis, NB, Katelyn Owen (Andrew) of Maces Bay, NB, and her son Anthony Owen of Saint John, NB, as well as nine grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, several aunts and uncles, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and her faithful furry companion, Pixie.
Besides her mother, Carol is predeceased by her infant son, David Joseph Owen, and brother Archie Myles.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Monday from 5-8 PM, a reception will take place from 8-9 PM, following the visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Quispamsis on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 10AM. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Graham MacNeil for his excellent care during the many years as her family doctor, and to Dr. James Michael for his compassionate care and humour.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the NB Association for Community Living or the charity of the donor's choice.
