Obituary of Michael Joseph Sullivan
It is with heavy hearts the family of Michael Joseph Sullivan announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on May 24, 1970, in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of Minerva (Loggie) and Ian O'Donnell.
Michael attended Kennebecasis Valley High School, he enjoyed bowling, basketball, puzzles, and biking. He also was involved with Special Olympics.
Survived by his brothers and sisters; Gary Sullivan (Tanya) of Darlings Island, NB, Cindy Matthews (Jeff) of Quispamsis, Robert Sullivan (April) of Bloomfield, and Bev Burhoe (John) of Upham, nieces and nephews; Evan and Jodie Sullivan, Taylor & Jon Matthews, Emma and Bennett Sullivan, and Brooke and Hailey Burhoe, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family would like to thank the care workers at CentraCare for their excellent care that they gave to Michael over the many years he spent with them.
Michael was predeceased by his father, Joseph Sullivan, grandparents: Frank and Catherine Sulllivan , Robert and Ina Loggie, Bev and Alice O'Donnell, aunt Connie (Sullivan) DeWolfe and uncle Roland Loggie.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Friday, February 9, from 6-9PM. Funeral Service will be held at Knox United Church, 4400 Water Street, Miramichi (Loggieville), NB, on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2PM. Interment to take place at Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Centracare Complex Behaviour Unit or to a charity of the donor's choice.
