Honored to have known the man we called Uncle Lou As friends of his nephew Louis we were fortunate to have been invited to Jane and Johns for family functions with Uncle Lou in attendance. We always enjoyed his stories of fishing trips and his airforce exploits. Memories of the fishing trips I was lucky to be included in will be treasured forever. A true gentleman whom we will miss

Ora Duffley posted a condolence
We would like to extend our deepest condolences and prayers for the Duffley clan in Canada from the Duffley family in Ireland. It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Lou, who came to visit our family many years ago. His visit to our home has been often recalled with fondness and we feel blessed to have met him. For many years we corresponded, Lou with beautifully written letters in which he told his news from St John, and we exchanged the traditional Christmas cards and of course St Patricks day cards and shamrocks. Lou made a big impression on all of us, his unassuming nature, his easy manner and his passion for genealogy. He will be greatly missed. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. Ar dheis De go raibh a h-anam, may his dear soul be at God's right hand.
