Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Thornton

It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Margaret (Gauthier) Thornton of Truro, NS on Friday, March 13, 2015, at Bobby's Hospice, Saint John, NB. She was born in Perron, Quebec, on May 23, 1939 to the late Henri and Rita (Power) Gauthier. Marg will be sadly missed by her husband Edward of 53 years; her children, Janet (Shawn) McNulty of Quispamsis, Sean (Bev) of Rossland, BC, Mike of Fernie, BC, and Jim of Truro, NS.; brothers William and Len Gauthier, sister Dolores Lowe; granddaughters Megan McNulty, Lauren McNulty and Courtney McCormick; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Gerry and Patrick, sisters Alice, Edna and Pauline. According to the wishes of the family, there will be no visitation. Funeral service and burial will take place in the spring in Omemee, Ontario.
