Obituary of Shirley Anne Lemon
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Shirley Anne Lemon of Quispamsis, NB announces the passing of their beloved mother on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on November 24, 1929 in Minto, NB and was the daughter of the late Thuriza McRae.
She worked most of her life in the retail field. She was a member of Quispamsis Seniors Club, enjoyed playing cards and loved her cats.
Survived by her sons; Terry Stilwell of Quispamsis, Lance Lemon of Saint John, and Brent Lemon (Sharon) of Quispamsis, daughter, Bonnie Richardson (Daryl) of Nauwigewauk, grandchildren; Troy and Jason Stilwell, Natasha Doucette, Christina Kitchen, Caitlin Bernard, Lisa and Jarrad Richardson, and great grandchildren; Hayley, Lila, Keiran, Kai, and Ava, and former husband Donald Lemon, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Shirley was predeceased by her brother, Floyd McRae.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (849-2119) with visiting on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 171 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Interment to take place at Riverbank Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
