Obituary of M. Earle Pitt

The family of Earle Pitt of Rothesay, NB, husband of the late Catherine (Quigley) Pitt, announces his passing on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, on June 25, 1926, he was the son of the late Percy and Carrie (Earle) Pitt. Earle was a veteran of World War II, serving from 1943-1946. He was employed with McBee Systems Canada as a Sales Associate for several years until his retirement. Earle was an active volunteer for many years with various service groups including, Lakewood Headstart, Early Intervention, and the Saint John Kiwanis. Survived by his son Christopher Pitt (Deborah) of Fredericton, NB, daughters; Mary Sollows (Kenneth) of Quispamsis, NB, and Elizabeth Pitt (Ron Pearman) of Saint John, NB, grandchildren; Jennifer Levesque (Luc), Michael Pitt (Jennie), David Sollows (Marissa), and John Sollows (Laura), great grandsons, Jacob Sollows and Chase Levesque, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, Earle was predeceased by his son John Pitt and sister Alma Sparks. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Monday from 5:00 -9:00 PM . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Quispamsis on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Interment to take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
