Obituary of Gertrude May Cossaboom

The passing of Gertrude May Cossaboom occurred at Perley-Rideau Veteran's Health Centre, in Ottawa, on Wednesday April 3, 2019.

Born on June 15, 1926 in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late William and Blanche (Laird) Blackwell.

Survived by her daughter Doreen Walkington (Paul) of Ottawa, brother William Blackwell (Vera) of Rothesay, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Gertrude was predeceased by her sister Doreen Blackwell.

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and veteran. Missed and not forgotten.

As per Gertrude's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment to take place at Greenwood Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
