Kevin greeted me my first day aboard Kootenay, after hitting the west coast from ships in Halifax. Still remember our first day at sea....08:15 and Kevin comes up to me in the flats, and says "come on, it's past noon in Halifax" and leads me to 3 mess....lol.....We ended up on the same SLC course together a few years later. He was a friend, a great shipmate, and a top notch seaman. I am proud to have sailed with him. Fair winds, and following seas old friend.

JANET thank you sharing your best friend and husband with all of our family. The little guy taught many things in the navy and we always share fun filled Times together. He served his country with great pride and honour and Kevin would give the shirt off his back to anyone down on their luck. Many memories that will
remind me he is looking down on me. Fair winds and following Sea's old bubby.

My deepest condolences to the Family, I met Kevin several times over the years while he was serving in CFB Cornwallis and at CFRC Saint John. I didn't realise he was living in the Valley, I hadn't seen since he retired. Always a great chap to have a wet and yarn with. May you take comfort knowing we share in your loss and strength from our prayers.
Sincerely,

To the Ranger family - my brother Sean and I were so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing. As kids, we had many memories of Kevin when he visited with mom and dad in Kitchener. Mom always had a soft spot for Kevin - she really loved the songs and stories and was pleased to visit him at your home before she passed away. Even with so many miles between them she always felt like she was home when they were together.
Take care -
Tammy Schneider

Janet,Jason and family, and Jyl and family:
Our sincere condolences and sympathy to all of you.I have such fond memories of Kevin from the summer I spent at Annie and San’s in Kitchener-he was a regular visitor there all summer and he treated me with respect and kindness, more like a sister rather than a cousin! My only wish is that I could have spent more time with him and gotten to know him better.

To Janet, Jason, Jyl and Family, I pray for the Holy Spirit to guide You all and give You the peace and courage needed in these difficult times.
I fondly remember Kevin with His quick wit, His great come backs, a laugh a minute
and the many caps we opened together.
Heaven is in great company with many of Kevin`s Family and Friends.
If the Angels can`t play guitar yet, They will certainly learn.
God Bless You all, always in our thoughts and prayers,
Gary
