Obituary of Marilee Dawn Price

After a courageous battle with cancer, Marilee Price, of Quispamsis, passed peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at Bobby’s Hospice. She was surrounded by the love of her family and support from the community.

Born on March 6, 1972, in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of Dow and Marjorie Price. Marilee loved her children, Logan and Duncan Cunningham, and was so proud of their accomplishments. Most recently, she was able to see her eldest, Logan, graduate from Kennebecasis Valley High School at a special ceremony at Bobby’s Hospice. During her life, Marilee had a natural talent for music and would sing beautiful songs to her family, friends, students and anyone luckily enough to listen. Marilee was a teacher at Milledgeville North School for several years, where she taught music and took great pride in her students.  Later in life, she became a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Choir, where she made lifelong friends who she was able to share her gifts of music with. Marilee was creative and had a vivacious spirit that would light up any room she entered.

Besides her parents, Marilee is survived by her loving sons; Logan and Duncan, their father Chris Cunningham; brothers, Michael and Mitch (Alison); several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; as well as her faithful schnauzer, Harley.

Arrangements are under the care of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119). Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020, from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 31 Gondola Point Road, Rothesay. Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 1:00 PM.
