I just saw this notice now. My love and prayers to all of you during this difficult time. I didn't know your dad well, even though he was my Godfather, but we did have the privilege of speaking to each other a number of times the last few years. I have no doubt there was a major welcome party for him in Heaven. Sending you love Uncle John... always.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Johnny. It has been 50 some odd years since I last heard about Johnny. I worked as a Solo Act at the Monterrey Club in Montreal, when the Stoltz were the house band.

My sincere sympathy. My parents (Conrad & Dolores Schmelzle) were very close to Johnny and The Stoltz Brothers. I still have their album signed by them. They even called my parents Mom & Pop. I remember them coming to our home in Montreal many many times when I was just a kid. Something made me google ''The Stoltz Brothers'' today, and now I know why. I am terribly sorry for your loss. It has been a couple of decades now that my parents have gone, but their love of music grows on in me.

So very sorry to hear of your father's passing. I remember growing up knowing your family over the years. My Mom always enjoyed staying in touch with John and Candy. She thought the world of them both. I have great memories of running into your dad either at the Villa or around Quispamsis. We would share great chuckles of times gone by of the Courtney Bay or of the Cave
My deepest sympathy to all, I hope your memories can give you comfort at this time. Smile with comfort knowing your parents are united once again.

For Sara: Many hearts were broken in hearing of John’s death. He had such a beautiful, contagious smile, marred only by the passing of Candy, Kerry and Ryan. He will be lovingly remembered by so many people, young and old that had the pleasure of meeting or knowing him throughout his life. Rick and I send sincere condolences to you, your Mom, Mindy, Melody and all the families. We love you Sara and will always be here for as long as we can for you. John’s Funeral Mass was a beautiful tribute to him. To quote the priest,...”St. Peter...Johnny Storm is here...get ready to Rock & Roll”

To all Johnny's family, although I never had the opportunity to meet any of you, I knew Johnny very well for 25 plus years as well as Candy, He played at the 69 branch Legion both alone and with Sonny , He had a style like no other and was second to none for the type of dancing style that I and so many others enjoyed, My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you at this time. I will truly miss his out going personality and his music as well as I am sure so many others will. I only wish he had made a C.D. so that we could have listened to him regularly, Such a great entertainer.
May he rest in peace with Candy.

Johnny was a fixture at Rocmaura for many years. The residents and staff loved him very much and I have fond memories of hearing his music from my office each time he was in to perform. I will always remember his kindness and bright smile, which he shared freely with everyone he met.
One of my last memories of him was helping him through the doors as he left with his equipment; a bright smile and his positive, welcoming way of being exuding from him.
I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
