Obituary of Jeannette Marie Landry
After a courageous battle with cancer, the family of Jeanette Landry, announce her passing on Friday, February 12, 2021, at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Notre-Dame, NB, on March 24, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Laudia (Babineau) Landry.
Jeanette was employed in the hospitality industry, working in several businesses for many years all across Canada. She enjoyed puzzles, crafts, was an avid Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs fan and loved listening to the Sunday night country jamboree. Jeannette was a strong and courageous woman in her illness. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sisters; Eva Reinhart of Quispamsis, Norma Daigle of Boston, MA, Rita Eagles of Salisbury, NB, Geneva Richard of St. Louis, NB, and Rhea Landry of Rothesay, NB, brothers; Eddie of Moncton, NB, and Valery of Campbellton, NB, her furry companion, Phyllis, as well as several nieces, and nephews.
Besides her parents, Jeannette is predeceased by her brother Philip, sister Freda Landry, and brother in law Wilfred “Buddy” Reinhart.
Jeannette’s family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of Bobby’s Hospice, for their friendship and kindness shown to Jeanette. Your compassion will never be forgotten.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119). Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private visitation and celebration of Jeannette’s life will be held at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel. For those unable to attend, the funeral service will be livestreamed on Jeannette's obituary at www.kennebecasisfh.com on Thursday, February 18, 2012, at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place at Notre- Dame Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
