We were shocked and heart-broken to hear of David's passing. We miss him already but are grateful to have so many fond memories of him.
If David and Trudy were passing through Toronto they would often take an afternoon to stop by the house and visit. We loved those visits. David was so much fun. He always had a joke or a laugh to share. But he was also so thoughtful and considerate. He would often call my parents to check on Aunt Verna or Uncle Wilf. If he couldn't get through then he'd call me just to make sure they were OK.
Our love, thoughts and prayers go out to Trudy amd Ben in their grief.

It was mine and Larry's great pleasure to meet and get to know David and Trudy on a Caribbean Cruise back in 2015. We were close table mates at dinner and enjoyed conversation together. David had a great sense of humor and both he and Trudy were fun to be with. When we were taking a cruise to New England and would be in St. Johns we were making plans to get together with David and Trudy when our plans were altered because David's father became ill and they had to go be with him. Our hearts are saddened to hear of David's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Trudy and Ben and all of their family. David will be missed. We know David knew our Savior, Jesus Christ, and enjoys the presence of our Redeemer now and we look forward to seeing him when we are all reunited. For now, we will remember and think of David fondly and our thoughts and prayers will be with Trudy and family that they will feel God's comfort in every memory of David.

So sad and shocked to hear of David's sudden passing. I have great memories of our days at Tulakadik and work life brought us together in commissioning a scrubber at IPP. Now he has been called home and will enjoy many more experiences as he explores and enjoys God's Kingdom. May our God grant love and comfort during these dark days.
God Bless

Dear Trudy & Ben,
We are so sorry to hear of David's passing. We have only known David in later years but had the utmost respect for him as he did for others. Our memories of our accidental meeting with you & David on the DAWN cruise in 2011 made for a much more enjoyable vacation thanks to the two of you. Our thoughts & deepest sympathy go out to you at this difficult time.

Dear Trudy and Ben,
We are shocked and saddened hearing about Dave. His cheery smile and fun humour always lifted those around him. I smile remembering Dave and his poem- "one elephant annoys a lot of people, two elephants annoy, annoy, a whole lot more..." and I can hear Dave filling in many, many more verses. He will be sadly missed by us all.
Our sincere sympathy to all.

Dear Trudy & Ben, no words can express how sorry we were to hear the devastating news of David's passing. It was great to have been been able to enjoy his company on different occasions, he was witty, charming & kept all of us laughing with his answers while playing board games. As soon as I can, (Covid etc) I will be down for a visit & spend some time with you. It definitely was far to soon to lose an amazing husband & father, take care my friend.

I was so saddened to hear of Dave’s sudden passing. I will always think of him with a big smile on his face and a genuine interest in what I was up to. It seemed that Trudy and Dave always came as a pair, side by side and so influential on the younger generation at KBC.
I imagine Him discovering all sorts of incredible places in Heaven but I know he will be so missed here by friends and family.

Blaine and I and our girls are so shocked and saddened by Dave'/s sudden passing. It seems like it can't be real
David always had a warm welcoming smile and was such a patient and kind man . Our fondest memories are of seeing him
on the ski hill and in the lodge at Attitash where he was often surrounded by teens from the church who loved to ski with him.
Years earlier David and you ,Trudy, were Sunday School teachers and Rachel was privileged to be under your tutelage. David's passing will leave a gaping hole in your family circle and in the lives of all who knew and loved him. Our deepest sympathies and
prayers are with you through this unimaginable loss .May God 's love embrace you and Ben at this time and give you comfort and
strength during this season of grief.

We just met David and Trudy in FL last winter and loved them right away! Went to church together, rode our golf cart all over together, ate together, sang together, shared a lot of time together over two month period. David and I fished for large mouth bass together and he caught more than I... Margaret and I are heart broken. We were looking forward to being in FL together again next winter! Trudy, Ben and family. It is with a heavy and hurting heart that I send my deepest sympathy to you. Know you are in my thoughts and prayers. May the faith that you have bring you comfort and knowing that this is a temporary goodbye as Dave is now resting in the arms of Jesus, and one day we will join him there. The following song has been on my mind this week...
God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His heart

Dear Trudy & Ben,
Carol & I wish to express our deepest sympathies and condolences to you both during this trying time. We have fond memories of our time together in New York where we developed a friendship with you and Dave and were fortunate to carry-on this friendship with our relocation back to New Brunswick. Dave's love of you, Ben, and travelling, were ever present in his conversations. His generous, helpful and kind nature with a smattering of wit and humour thrown in whenever the opportunity arose will be missed.

Dear Trudy,
I will always be grateful to Dave for taking me under his wing when I first started with Irving. He gave me my foundation of Irving culture and history - with a focus on leading with values and compassion and taking care of people. I especially remember Dave talking to me about the importance of being self-actualized and how if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life.
I just loved it when you and Dave were based out of Fort Edward, Trudy. I hope you know you will always be part of our Fort Edward family. I send my deepest condolences and a great big hug to you and Ben.
With sympathy,
Tracy Podnorszki

Joan & I are so shocked to learn of David’s passing. I consider David a good friend that I have known and was introduced to Trudy and David through my dear friends and another of his good friends Claire & Nancy Blakney many years ago. I find it so shocking where it was only in 2018 that David & I spoke at Claire’s funeral and now both have been taken way too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Trudy, as well as Ben and the rest of your families, as you go through these most difficult times. Please accept my sincere condolences and wish we were closer so could be there for you.
