Obituary of Sean Leo O'Rourke

Following an inspirational journey with cancer the death of Sean Leo O'Rourke of Quispamsis, husband of Gina (Clarke) O'Rourke occurred July 1, 2005 at his residence in the arms of his family. He was born January 1, 1965 in Corner Brook, NL, son of Ann (Kelly) O'Rourke and the late James O'Rourke. He was Director of Finance with JD Irving Transportation Services. Sean was an avid golfer, skier and swimmer. Time spent with his family was his greatest love. Surviving besides his wife, Gina and mother, Ann are two children, Melissa and Jordan at home; two sisters, Margaret Ann Blaney (Michael) of Rothesay, Alison Collins (Dion Power) of Corner Brook, NL; mother and father-in-law, Gaetan and Laura (Clarke) Fillon of Labrador City, NL; sisters-in-law, Nadine Billard (Chris) of St. John's, NL and Trula LeBlanc (Jamie) of Ottawa, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home (849-2119), 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, with visiting Monday 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark's Church, Quispamsis, on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Cremation will follow.
