Obituary of Keith Gerald McRae

The death of Keith Gerald McRae of Quispamsis, husband of Debbie (Appleby) McRae, occurred after a long and courageous battle with cancer, August 19, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit. He was born in Saint John, son of Gerald McRae and the late Marion (Archer) McRae. Keith was employed with Aliant for 29 years. He enjoyed duck hunting and was a member of Ducks Unlimited. Surviving besides his wife Debbie and father Gerald (Ilene), Saint John are two daughters Beth McRae, Saint John, Julia McRae, at home; three brothers Jeff (Carroll), Ottawa, ON, David, Hampton, Peter (Laurie), Oromocto; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Marion and sister-in-law Mary McRae. At Keith's request there will be no visiting. Following cremation a memorial service will be held 11:00, Wednesday, August 24, 2005, at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis. Remembrances to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
