Obituary of Pat Ann Owen

Owen, Patricia Ann; The death of Pat Owen of Quispamsis, wife of David Owen, occurred February 22nd, 2007, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Georgeville, NS, she was the daughter of Marcella (Hart) MacLean and the late Joseph MacLean. Pat was an avid bingo player, gardener and enjoyed camping and anything to do with the outdoors. Besides her her husband, David and mother, Marcella, Pat is also survived by one son, Scott Burnside of Edmonton, AB; two step-sons, Arthur Owen of Juniper, NB and Anthony Owen at home; five step-daughters, Crystal Donovan (Joe) of Saint John, Tammy Cormier of St. John’s, NL, Cynthia, Bobbi-Jo and Katelyn Owen, all of Saint John; three brothers, Vincent MacLean (Sue), Jamie MacLean (Cheryl) and Stevie MacLean, all of Hamilton, ON; six sisters, Betty Kirk (Johnny) of Tennessee, Florence Faulkenham (Daniel), Veronica Fanning (Fosh Fraser), Carlie MacEachern (Wade McKenna), Linda MacInnis, all of Antigonish, NS and her twin sister, Marion McEwen (Paul) of Moncton; seven grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph; two brothers, A.J. MacLean and infant brother David; one brother-in-law, Jimmy MacInnis and one grandson, Lucas. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 26th, 2007, from St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow.
