Obituary of Martha Richard

Richard, Martha Patricia - Martha “Pat” (Dillon) Richard, born July 10th, 1918 in Manchester, England, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 3rd, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond Gerald Richard, formerly of Amherst, Nova Scotia. Pat is survived by her three children, Yvonne (John) of Tallahassee, Florida, Terry of Quispamsis and David (Clare) of Isle of Man; four grandchildren, Simon of Fredericton, Stephen (Sherry) of Brandon, Manitoba, Andrea (Christopher) of Tampa, Florida and Michael of Manchester, England; one great-grandchild, Tommy of Brandon, Manitoba; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews. Following cremation, visitation will be held at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (506) 849-2119 on Monday, June 11th, 2007 from 2-4 pm with a memorial service taking place immediately following visitation at 4 pm, from the Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow the service. Interment will take place in Amherst, Nova Scotia, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated.
