Obituary of Kenneth Conrad Wyman

The death of Kenneth Wyman of Quispamsis, NB, occurred on Tuesday, February 19th, 2008, at his residence. Born in Saint John, NB, on August 8th, 1919, he was the son of the late Jesse and Emma (Phillips) Wyman. Kenneth was an employee with Canada Post for 35 years, before retiring as Post Master in Rothesay. He served on the District 19 School Board, was a Veteran of WW II, a founding member of Crossroads Cathedral, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Fredericton and was also an avid bowler. Kenneth is survived by three daughters, Sharon Cunningham (Gordon) of Hatfield Point, NB, Jane Boyd (Carl) of Kars, NB and Susan Jefferies-Murray (Bruce) of Eastern Passage, NS; two sons, Neal Wyman (Karen) and Michael Wyman (Monica), both of Quispamsis; one step-daughter, Debbie Killam of Martinon; three step-sons, Danny Killam (Mary) of Saint John, Brian Killam of Rothesay and Gary Long (Donna) of McKees Mills, NB; one sister, Dorothy White (Malcolm) of Saint John; one sister-in-law, Doreen Roberts of Wolfville, NS; a close friend, Jean Lafontaine; eighteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wives, Phyllis Wyman, Claire Killam and Veronica Long; two sisters, Phyllis Thomson and Hattie Moffatt; two brothers, Phillips Wyman and infant brother, Verner Wyman. Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Thursday from 6-8 PM and Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 23rd, 2008, at Kings Way Assembly, Quispamsis, NB, at 10:30 AM. Burial will take place in Bay View Cemetery, Hatfield Point, NB, in the spring.
