Obituary of Catherine Glennie Leonard

We mourn the great loss of a wonderful wife, mother, grama, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Cathy was born in Galt, Ontario, daughter of Wesley and Edla (Whetter) Mills. She was a sister to Arlene Rogers (Ron), Garth Mills and Kevin Mills (Venus). Cathy was a dear wife to Jim. They have two children, Julie Lavergne (Ron) and Tyler Leonard (Alycia). Also, five loved and spoiled grandchildren: Jocelyn, Jillian, Rohan, Keira and Keyan. Together Jim and Cathy built a family business (Leonard Sanitation Supplies Ltd.) in Saint John, NB. Cathy was a faithful servant of Jehovah God for over 41 years. Her solid faith gave her remarkable strength and courage to face her illness as a fighter! As sick as she was, Cathy never complained and, as always, put her family and others first. She fell asleep in death peacefully at home, snuggling and holding hands with her husband of 37 years. She sleeps in Jehovah’s memory - we will be reunited in Paradise! (John 5:28 & 29, John 11:25 and Luke 23:43) Family and friends will gather together at 2 pm, Saturday, June 7, 2008, for a memorial service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 14 Elliot Road, Quispamsis, NB.
