Obituary of Sandra Boucher

The death of Sam Boucher of Quispamsis, NB, occurred August 13th, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (O'Brien) Darrah. Although Sam worked outside the home for several years, she really enjoyed her time babysitting children, all of whom she came to love. Knitting mittens and other crafts were a favorite pastime for Sam, as well as keeping in touch with family and friends. She is survived by husband, Gerald "Gerry"; her son Kevin (Susan), Fredericton, NB; brothers Stanley (Lila) Darrah, ON and Douglas (Dolly) Darrah, NS; sisters Edith (Bob) Fullerton, Long Reach, NB, Loreen (Willis) Kinney, Moss Glen, NB, Leona Flewelling (the late Murray Flewelling), Saint John, NB, Yvonne (Dave) Henderson, ON; numerous nieces and nephews. Sam was predeceased by sisters, Hazel Saunders and Dorothy "Dot" Tucker. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (506) 849-2119 where visitation will be held Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Rothesay, NB, on Saturday at 10:00am. Cremation to follow.
