Obituary of Daniel Wayne Robertson
Dan Robertson of Quispamsis, NB, passed away on Friday, August 22nd, 2008 at the QEII in Halifax. Dan was born and raised in Saint John, NB. Friends and family meant everything to Danny. He loved, and was loved by, his parents Fred and Ethel (Appleby) Robertson, wife Lise Panchmatia, brother David Robertson (Ann), sister Rhonda Waugh (Tim) and many aunts, uncles, in-laws and cousins. He was great with kids and a fabulous uncle to his nieces and nephews. His daughter Danielle, meant the world to him. Dan lived life to the fullest. He walked slowly, paddled slowly, and peddled hard. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a favourite spin instructor at the Goodlife. Dan loved to tell a good story, organize a great party and play guitar. Many great evenings were spent with friends. Dan always found the right words to say. He had great compassion for others. He fought his illness with courage and optimism and was an inspiration to many. Dan worked for 22 years at the Irving Oil Refinery. He worked hard and with integrity and made many friends there. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (506) 849-2119, where visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 28th, 2008 at 11:00 am from Kennebecasis Chapel. Interment to follow, in Riverbank Cemetery, Riverbank, NB.
