Obituary of Barbara Ann Jewett Langan

The death of Barb Jewett Langan of Quispamsis, NB, wife of Ken Langan, occurred on Friday, September 12th, 2008, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Stanley, NB on July 11th, 1940, she was the daughter of Noreen (Sherwood) Dorcas and the late Henry Dorcas. Survived by daughter, Janice Roy Hanson (Bruce) of Rothesay and their children Stephanie, Adam and Katie; son, Kevin Jewett (Marion) of Fredericton, NB and their child Emily; husband, Ken Langan and his children, Doug (Wendy) Quispamsis, Nancy Hines (Andrew) of Wellington, NS, Rob (Cindy) of Dartmouth, NS and Beth Hamilton (Mark) of Saint John; sister, Fern Gallagher (Clair) of Williamsburg, NB; brother, Dr. Dow Dorcas (Margaret) of Oakville, ON; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband, Walter Jewett; sister, Mary Jean Fullarton and brother, Richard Dorcas. Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 15th, 2008 from Quispamsis United Church, Hampton Road, Quispamsis, at 10:30 am. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
