Obituary of Robert Edward Barton

The death of Robert Edward Barton of Quispamsis, NB, husband of Dorothy (Musetta) Barton occurred September 24, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Saint John, son of the late Herbert and Anna (Patterson) Barton. Bob loved gardening and took pride in winning at the Saint John Exhibition. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and bird watching. Bob was a member of New Brunswick Lodge #22, F.& A.M. He is survived by his wife Dorothy; one son Robert Louis Barton (Kim), Norton; one step-daughter, Debbie Musetta (Murray Lambert), Fredericton; four grandchildren, Candace, Mike and Tristan Barton and Jordan Musetta Lambert; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister Bertha and one brother Harry. Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Masonic tribute will be held Friday, 7:00 pm at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 27th, 2008 from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Quispamsis, at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
