Obituary of William Davis

Davis, William Arthur; The death of Bill Davis of Quispamsis, NB, husband of Mary (Hughes) Davis, occurred Friday, October 24th, 2008, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Stanley, NB, he was the son of Reginald and Lois (Mahoney) Davis. Bill was employed with J.D. Irving, Limited - IT Division, and was a former Vice President at xwave Solutions. Besides his wife, Mary, and parents, Reginald & Lois, Bill is also survived by one daughter, Katharine ; four sons, Will, James, Peter and Thomas, all at home; one sister, Stephanie Davis (Andre Vincent) of Halifax, NS; several nieces and nephews. Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Vigil Prayers will be held Monday at 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 171 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, on Tuesday, October 28th, 2008, at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow, in the church hall. A private burial will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Saint John, NB, at a later date.
