Obituary of John Allan Porter

The death of John Porter occurred unexpectedly on Thursday, January 22nd, 2009, at the age of 33. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of John Porter Jr. and Pat (McBrine) Porter. John was an employee at the Irving Oil Refinery. Besides his parents, John is also survived by his son, Ethan of Saint John; two sisters, Jamie Scholten (B.J.) and Jackie Porter (Jay), both of Rothesay; his maternal grandmother, Mary McBrine; two nieces, Abby and Aly; two nephews, Jason and Zach; as well as, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119. By request, there will be no public visitation or service.
