Obituary of Maria Anne Koval
The death of Maria Koval (Jaillet) of Kingston, NB, partner and wife of Mike Koval, occurred Wednesday, May 6th, 2009, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Ste-Anne-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of Cordelia (McDonald) Jaillet of Moncton, NB and the late Cyrille Jaillet. Maria was employed for 33 years with RBC Financial. Besides her husband, Mike, and mother, Cordelia, Maria is also survived by two daughters, Lynne Boyd of Saint John and Lisa Taylor (Ray) of Aldergrove, BC; one son, Jim Briggs (Susan) of Greenwood, NS; two step-daughters, Debbie Little (Wayne) of Hampton and Patti Koval of Saint John; five step-sons, Derek Koval (Rebecca) of Rothesay, Brian Koval (Leslie) of Dartmouth, NS, John Koval, (Phyllis) of Saint John, Arden Koval (Lori) of Kingston and Peter Koval (Trudy) of Quispamsis; one sister, Helen Mountrakis (Gregory) of Moncton; three brothers, Norman Jaillet (Evelyn), Archie Jaillet (Donna) and Ron Jaillet (Norma), all of Grande-Digue, NB; twelve grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. As well as, her father, Maria was also predeceased by five siblings. At the family’s request, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 31 Gondola Point Road, Rothesay, on Wednesday, May 13th, 2009, at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow, in the church hall. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (506) 849-2119.
