Obituary of Dawn Ashley McHugh

The death of Dawn McHugh of Nauwigewauk, NB, wife of Bud McHugh, occurred on Sunday, July 5th, 2009, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Augusta, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Beryl (Sherwood) Hutchinson. Dawn was a member of Rothesay Baptist Church for many years. Besides her husband, Bud, she is also survived by two daughters, Debra Green (John) of Amherst, NS and Barbara Morrow (Doug) of St. Stephen, NB; one son, Michael Hamm (Joselyn) of Saint John; one step-daughter, Elizabeth “Anne” McHugh and one step-son, Peter McHugh (Ann), both of Saint John; five grandchildren, Stephen, Jessica, Haley, Nicholas and Saren; as well as, one special aunt, Maxine Blackburn of Augusta, Maine. Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 8th, 2009, at 11:00 AM, at Rothesay Baptist Church, 30 Vincent Road, Quispamsis. Burial will take place in Hampton Rural Cemetery.
