Obituary of Joan Marie Cooper
The death of Joanie Cooper, of Rothesay, occurred on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, on June 15, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Emily (Lisson) Cooper. She was a former employee of Key Industries and was a member of the RCL Branch# 58 Ladies Auxiliary. Joanie is survived by one brother, Robert “Bo” Cooper (Beth) of Rothesay; three nieces, Stacy Snodgrass (Doug), Jennifer Wolfsgruber (Tony) and Alison Cooper; two nephews, Michael Sheehan (Jenny) and Robbie Cooper (Laura); five great nieces, Erica (Sean), Emily, Becky, Mindy and Caitlin; three great nephews, Nathan, Carmine and Corbin; two great-great nieces, Tanisha and Kassidy; two great-great nephews, Riley and Mathew. She was predeceased by one sister, Mary Sheehan and one great niece, Cindy Gallant. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 6, 2010, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Rothesay, at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
