Obituary of Lily Nordstrom

The death of Lily Nordstrom of Saint John, wife of the late Reese T. Nordstrom, occurred Friday, December 31st, 2010, at Bobby’s Hope House, Saint John, West. Born on March 18th, 1918 in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Meriem (Tuck) Ivany. Lily is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Dalton of Rothesay; one chosen daughter, Theresa Connolly of Saint John; one brother, Calvin Ivany (Marion) of Ontario; one cousin, Percy Ivany (Eileen) of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son-in-law, John Dalton; one brother, Hedley Ivany; one sister-in-law, Christine Ivany; as well as, one special cousin, Gladys Merritt. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3rd, 2011, at 2:00 PM, from the chapel of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home. A reception will follow the funeral service, at the funeral home.
