Obituary of Rose Kirkpatrick
KIRKPATRICK, ROSE … Suddenly at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, NS, the passing of Rose Kirkpatrick, of Rothesay, NB, wife of John Kirkpatrick occurred on Saturday, September 10, 2011. She was born on November 12, 1952 at Saint John to the late George and Mildred (McGuire) Humphrey. Rose was employed with the Saint John Regional Hospital in Medical Education and Medical Records for 25 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church. Besides her husband, Rose is survived by her brother in law, Allen (Mavis) Kirkpatrick, Rothesay, NB, brother, Louis Humphrey, Fernie, BC, sister, Brenda Smith, Quispamsis, NB, two Aunts, Geraldine and Frauki Humphrey, nephew, David (Kelly) Kirkpatrick and niece, Karen (Jeff) Kirkpatrick, great nephew, Brandon Cormier, several cousins, and sister of the heart, Charlene (Mike) Hatfield. A loving, giving, compassionate, brave and strong women. Rose will be missed by all. Thank you to the Nephrology/Dialysis Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital for their care. Also the transport team and the ICU staff at Victoria General. Resting at Kennebecasis Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119), with visiting on Tuesday, September 13, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from Kennebecasis Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish remembrances to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. On line condolences may be placed at www.kennebecasisfh.com.
