Obituary of Richard Dennis Langille
It is with great sadness that the family of Rick Langille of Nauwigewauk, husband of Alison Marr, announce his unexpected death which occurred on Sunday, November 20th, 2011, at his home. Born in Plaster Rock on November 28th, 1963, he was the son of Val (Rollins) Langille of Quispamsis and the late Don Langille. Rick worked as a self-employed plumber. He was passionate about super bike street racing and enjoyed the outdoors. Rick was a loyal friend to many and had several fond memories of times spent fishing, hunting and snowmobiling with those he loved. Rick adored all animals and especially loved his dogs, Ruby and Cooper. Besides his wife, Alison and mother, Val, Rick is also survived by his brother, Danny Langille (Tracey) of Jemseg; his sister, Lori Langille (Frank Osso) of Westphal, NS; nieces, Kira, Megan and Emily; great-niece, Hayden; special canine companions, Ruby and Cooper; aunts; uncles; cousins and many friends. Rick was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 24th, 2011, at Kennebecasis Baptist Church, 383 Hampton Road, Quispamsis, at 2:00 PM. A reception will immediately follow the service, at the church hall. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB, Kennebecasis Baptist Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
