Obituary of Susan Anna McNulty

The death of Sue McNulty of Quispamsis, beloved wife of Rick McNulty, occurred unexpectedly on Monday, January 9th, 2012, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Summerside, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Ruth (Gillis) Hutchinson. Following the loss of her daughter, Sue became actively involved with MADD Saint John, working tirelessly for a cause dear to her heart. Besides her husband, Rick, Sue is also survived by her daughter, Angela Buell (Mike) of Victoria, BC; her son, Chris McNulty of Arkansas; one brother, Harold Hutchinson (Maureen) of Charlottetown, PEI; seven grandchildren, Kali and Jeremy O’Dell, Mikayla, Lily and Cara Buell, Logan McNulty and Bradonia Napier. She was predeceased by her daughter, Laura O’Dell and son-in-law, Greg O’Dell. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Vigil Prayers will be held Thursday at 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 171 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, on Friday, January 13th, 2012, at 10:30 AM. A reception will be held in the church hall immediately following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MADD - Saint John Chapter.
