Obituary of Deborah Damon Henderson
It is with great sadness that the family of Deborah Henderson of Quispamsis, announce her death which occurred peacefully on Thursday, March 29th, 2012, at Bobby’s Hospice after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Saint John on July 12th, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Allan and Doris (Hutchinson) Sullivan. In her early years, Deborah was employed as an administrative assistant and also worked together with her husband for a moving company. After the birth of her son, Deborah dedicated the remainder of her life to raising her pride and joy, Jon. Deborah is survived by her son, Jon Henderson; sisters, Linda Meehan (Rick) and Wendy Sullivan; brothers, David (Glenna) and Stuart (Debbie); nieces, Jennifer Meehan-Mannett, Corinna, Patricia and Michelle Sullivan, Neva and Kathreen Carr; nephews, Chris Carr, Mervin, David and Steven Sullivan; great-niece and great-nephew, Ary and Alex Mannett; several other great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as many cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Gary Henderson and nephew, T. Douglas Meehan. As per the family’s request, no visitation will take place. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2012, at Kennebecasis Baptist Church, 383 Hampton Road, Quispamsis, at 11:00 AM. A reception will immediately follow the service, at the church hall. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, (506) 849-2119.
