Obituary of Lillian F. Warnock
We wish to announce, with great sadness the passing of Lillian F. Warnock of Oak Point, NB, which occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on June 25, 2012. Born in 1917, she was the daughter of the late William and Edna (Bowes) Johnson. She was the loving wife of the late John W. Warnock for 71 years. Lillian worked in the Dietary Department of the D.V.A. Hospital for 26 years. She was a past president of the Loyalist Lodge No. 674 of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. Lillian’s family wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff of Rocmaura Nursing Home for providing her with such excellent care. She is survived by daughters, Dorothy (Richard) McFadden of Oak Point and Carol (Dr. Ronald) Craig of Quispamsis; sisters, Olga McCarthy, Edna (Robert) Judge and Noreen (Roger) Gellell; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, William, Robert, Cecil and James; sister, Marion Melvin; son, John and infant grandson, John. As per Lillian’s request, no visitation or funeral service will take place. Interment will take place in St. Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Oak Point, at a later dater.
