Obituary of Harland Paul Everett
With great sadness the family announce the passing of Harland Paul Everett, loving husband of Dorothy (McCarty) Everett. His passing occurred after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer on July 24, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit, with his family by his side. Born in Riley Brook, NB he was the son of the late George and Carolyn (Rollins) Everett. Harland proudly served in the Royal Canadian Air Force and retired after 35 years of loyal service. He also enjoyed his years as a commissioner. He will always be remembered as a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Besides his wife, Dorothy, Harland is also survived by his daughters, Paulette Jenkins (Doug) of Weymouth, NS, Tammy Noel (Rick) of Surrey, BC and Kelly Markle (the late Scott) of Legal, AB; two sisters, four brothers, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren plus one expected in January and one great-great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by two sisters in infancy and two brothers. Services will be held at a later date in Arthurette, NB. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, Quispamsis, (506) 849-2119.
