Obituary of Stephen Gary Lee
It is with broken hearts that the family of Stephen Gary Lee announces his unexpected passing on Friday, May 7, 2021. Stephen was born in Saint John on November 12, 1954, and was the son of the late, Harold and Helen (MacPherson) Lee.
Steve was a kind, generous and soft-spoken man, who will be missed tremendously. During his life, Steve had many hobbies and aspirations that took him all over the world. For many years, he lived, worked and raised a family in Alberta, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, UAE and Qatar. He spent much of his career working as a computer operator in the oil and gas industry. Stephen was naturally gifted when it came to technology, he loved to tinker with gadgets and was always up to date with the newest electronics. He enjoyed cooking, going out to eat and had a love of the Far East. He also loved going to the movies, reading, crossword puzzles, and living near the ocean. Above all of his interests and passions was his love for his family including his three girls and his grandchildren. He took great pleasure in seeing them grow and many of his personality traits will continue to live on through them.
Stephen is survived by his beloved daughters, Marsha (Tim) Daley of Fredericton; Joanah (Ross) Campbell of Quispamsis, and Samantha Lee of Ottawa; his brother, Ross Lee of Bridgewater, NS; grandchildren: Monica, Myles, Adriana and Seth; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Peter Lee.
