To all of Albert's family we send our sincere condolences! Albert was always so friendly to meet and chat with. Growing up on the Peninsula it was just a fact that Albert was always there - a great community person! We as a community are so much better for having had him with us all these years.

We first met Albert in 2008 when we moved to the Peninsula. He did some work for us on the house and later on at the property. Right from the beginning you could tell he was a straight shooter and a real gentleman. Over the course of the next several years he came to get strawberries from us and then later on we delivered berries to him and his wife and enjoyed the discussions we had with them. Albert seemed to be a kindred spirit and the world would be a better place with more people like him in it. He enjoyed a good joke and always seemed to have a ready smile accompanied by a twinkle in his eye.We especially liked to listen to some of his many stories. Ourselves, along with many others, will miss him.

To the family of Albert Miller:
Mike and I were so sad to read of the passing of Albert. We have had him do some jobs at our house in past years. He was so kind, understanding and patient. Albert was a true gentleman who always took the time to help us. He had a great sense of humour and Mike and him always enjoyed meeting and talking as he worked on the task at hand. We will miss him. Our condolences go to all his family at this sad time. Caroline and Michael Erickson

We are so sorry to hear of Albert's passing. We are very blessed to have known Albert. He was a very wise man and his words of advice regarding the best way to do things always fell on our captive ears - advice that was greatly appreciated and put into practice successfully, thanks to Albert. He was a very kind and gentle man and we have nothing but the greatest respect for him. He was a great inspiration to us and that inspiration will always be remembered. Our community is lacking now that Albert has moved on. He was the cornerstone of this community and now that he has gone, there is a large crack in the foundation. We will miss our daily bantering with Albert but he will always be remembered for the fine man he was. Our sincere condolences to all of his family, friends and neighbours.

I'll always remember some of the best times in my life were with you.You were very special to many people and we'll always remember that. I'll never forget how many times you'd laugh at my wild ideas and call me crazy. Hours of teaching me everything you could. And the amount of time I spent sitting on the fender of that old tractor and excavator. I thank you old man for everything you've done. I love you and Rest Easy Papa.
