Obituary of Debbie Chamberlain
After a difficult battle with cancer, Deborah Ann Myles Chamberlain, 62, of Rothesay, New Brunswick passed away peacefully on Friday, October 8th, 2021, surrounded by her husband and children.
Deborah and Thomas started their family shortly after finishing university and settling into there life in Plaster Rock. Debbie nurtured each of her sons; Nikalos, Brody, Jaye, and Rorey, with the same passion and attention that she spent on her many flower beds. She understood, much like her beautiful gardens, that each of her four sons needed different care to help them blossom into men she could be proud of. While her children grew up, Debbie took many of their friends under her wing. As a supply teacher she was a confidante and mentor to many people in the community. Debbie worked hard to lift up everyone around her. She was able to motivate you to be a better person with an honesty you could not find anywhere else. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her. We will all miss her dearly.
In keeping with Debbie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held at a later date when family, and friends can gather. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Debbie’s name to Portage Atlantic Rehabilitation Center. Donations can be made by phone 1-506-472-4947 or by visiting https://www.fondationportage.ca/portage/Make_A_Donation.html
