I am deeply saddened to hear of Connie's passing. We loved working for her, moving her to a new apartment. Maintenance at St. Martin's. Always took two of us, one to engage in conversation and one to work. We marvelled how well she took care of herself... Going down to Huttages Store for a piece of salmon. Very glad to have had the opportunity to meet John. She spoke fondly of. And valued all her family above her own,
She will be remembered as the definition of grace and elegance.

Our condolences to John, Brian and Karen. We have fond memories of our early days on Heather Terrace from 50 plus years ago. It was so good to have a quick visit with John this past summer and renew memories of hockey days and life in this neighbourhood at that time. We remember Connie as such an elegant upbeat lady.

I was very surprised to hear of Connie's passing. Having worked at Shannex she was a go getter. She will be missed by many.

Dear Wallace Family, it is with great sadness that I learned of the recent passing of THE BEAUTIFUL Connie. I think my late father would have categorized her as a 'hell of a dame',.meant of course as a sincere and complimentary recognition of her many talents. Through the past 20 years that I knew her she never failed to be gracious, funny, caring and devoted to her wonderful family. I have great memories of her and send my very warmest condolences to the entire Wallace Family. Beverley Franklin

Dear Karen, Brian and John. I was terribly saddened to hear of your mother's passing. We will all have a lifetime of wonderful memories growing up in Sunshine Gardens and the beautiful friendship our parents had. Connie is now reunited in Heaven with your father. May she rest peacefully.

My connection started with a rental of one of the O'Brien cottages in the 1940, my parents loved St. Martins and later purchased our own cottage. Always loved seeing the "clan" sunbathing for the day and enjoying the day at the beach. In later years always made a point of going over the hill to visit Connie and catch up. To her family our condolences. You have lost a wonderful mother, grandmother and auntie, hold on to the special memories, no one can take these away!
With fond regards, Charlie and Joan McClare(Malcolm)
