So sorry for your loss Diane and family. Rob will be missed by all. I went to school with Rob . He always took the time to chat and catch up life when ever we run into each other. For some reason I was at Anbl a few times Rob would smile ask how things where going always quick with a smile we would catch up and then he would educate me on wine and fine some prefect for my limited budget. He spoke about about Europe and I think we was hoping to make some trips in future . I also remember him helping Stewart get on the boat at eldery age I am sure he has a great son.

Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of Rob. As a friend, i have such great memories. Winter camping in Scouts, sailing adventures and just saying hello every now an again, he always provided a smile and a "how are you". In recent years, i looked forward to a trip to ANBL with the hope that Rob was working and we could go on a wine adventure, taking me to make remote worlds, and delicious experiences.

Diane, this is just such sad, sad news. Please know that Mac and I have you in our thoughts and hearts. As my next door neighbour and buddy when we were little kids, Robbie and I could always invent a ton of things to do: hunt for tadpoles, build forts, raid his dad’s vegetable garden, hang out with whatever dog was handy, climb apple trees or have snowball fights, and the list goes on and on. Although our teenage and adult lives set us in different directions and locations, Robbie Dobbie will remain a key character of my early childhood years. My sincerest condolences to you, your family, and to Linda and Jimmy.

We were so sad to learn of Rob’s passing. We remember when he and Diane had the pet store. Our first purchase as a couple was a sweet guinea pig from them. We continued to see Rob at ANBL and loved our conversations. He always had suggestions for us to try and he enjoyed catching up on our latest endeavours. Please know that you are all in our prayers. We pray you can find consolation in the happy memories you have.

Diane and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. We met Rob many years ago, buying fish and other pets from him when the boys were small. Such a kind and caring man. Whenever you arrived at the liquor store he was the first to help pick out the perfect wine for an event.
We will miss Rob. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time.

I grew up next to Rob and his family and reconnected when my mother-in-law was at Kingsway. Then recently reconnected again, when Diane became a care giver for our parents. Whenever I would see him, he always had a warm smile for me and we would reminisce about growing up in Fairvale.I have grown to love his hand dyed wool and “cranked socks”. Please accept my heartfelt condolences Diane to you and your family and to Jimmy and Linda.
