Obituary of Sheila Louise McAllister

It is with great sadness, the family of Sheila Louise McAllister, wife of Peter McAllister of Quispamsis, announce her passing on Friday, January 28, 2022,at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

Born on October 15, 1946, in Bridgetown, NS, she was the daughter of the late Tommy and June (Bauckman) Chute. Sheila was employed with the Bank of Montreal as Bank Manager, retiring from the Quispamsis Branch after more than 30 years. She enjoyed games, gardening, bowling, and most of all spending time with her famiy and watching her grandchildren grow.  

Besides her loving husband, Sheila is survived by her son Jimmy (Jennifer) of Quispamsis, brothers; John (Katherine) of Liverpool, NS, Dave (Marley) of Medicine Hat, AB, and Scott (Libby) of Atlanta, GA, grandchildren; Maddox and Mallory McAllister and Hope and Michael Bizeau, special nieces; Julianne and Lindsay, as well as several other nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Sheila was predeceased by her parents and her daughter Lorraine McAllister.

In keeping with Sheila’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are under the care of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119). For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or any charity of the donor’s choice.
