I always remember Marcie with a beautiful smile and always being happy when I saw her. She was 15 years older than I was, but I recall wanting to be like her when I grew up. Mom and Dad were always so excited when they knew she was coming to visit us on Prowse Ave. One time, she brought your gray poodle. Poor old Mom, who was afraid of large dogs. had to ask Marc to tie the dog on to the back fence and I was the lucky one who got to spend time with the dog in the garden. I am so sorry for your loss, but I know she will be with you always in your heart and in the every day happenings, that will remind you of her. Love, hugs and prayers to all who knew and loved her. NEIGHBOURS COME AND GO BUT RARELY DO YOU DEVELOP THE RELATIONSHIP ROB AND I HAD WITH YOU AND MARCIE, AND DESPITE BEING SICK FOR AWHILE, HER PASSING STILL COMES AS A SHOCK. MARCIE WAS A PERSON WHO TRULY ENJOYED LIFE AND MADE THE MOST OF IT. WHETHER IT WAS THE LOVE SHE HAD FOR JEFF AND BONNIE AS WELL AS REID AND MACY AND YOU CANT FORGET MARTY, MUFFY AND DUFFY, OR PLANNING HER BEAUTIFUL HOME PURCHASING PLANTS AND CRAFTS. SHE LOVED TO TRAVEL AND SHOP WHERE EVER SHE WENT. THE IMPACT WE WILL MISS MOST IS THE FRIENDSHIP WE DEVELOPED, FROM SITTING AROUND THE KITCHEN TABLE CHATTING, OR ON THE DECK AFTER SUNSET, TO KNOWING THAT SHE WOULD ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU WHENEVER NEEDED. Condolences to your family jeff, I’m very sorry for your loss, Marcy was a great person, and always treated me like her own, lots of great memories meeting up with Marcy and don and the dogs on Halifax during the Acadia days. Or even when she came to visit us on hillside, always brought us groceries and treats, those are fond memories I have. So so sorry, Condolences again to all, Marcy will be missed.
